Anics Skif A_3000 "Made in Russia"

                                 http://www.anics.com/en/products/

The next photos are of my Anics Skif A3000 that I purchased two summers ago at a local Canadian Gun show for $200 CDN.

I think it looks to be based loosely on the Walther P22 firearm.

I have found that copper coated lead BB's shoot very well for me out of this air pistol.
Pellets are a pain to load into the magazine, and roundball ammo is not.

AceTech Shooting Chronographs

I had wanted to get a ballistic chronograph for many years and last year there were two that appeared for sale on Amazon dot CA for very affordable prices.
I first bought the AC5000(orange & black) for $75, and later last year I upgraded to the higher end model, the AC6000 which cost $95.
They both function flawlessly and for the price of one "CHRONY" brand chronograph, I had two, one for at home mounted on aa tripo, and one for use in the field that fit easily in my shooting supply bag.

The Acetech AC5000 & AC6000 shooting chronographs are airsoft chronographs, but i contacted Acetech and asked if they can be used for lead & alloy pellets and steel BBs and they assured me that both devices will function perfectly with all AirGun ammo.

Big Country AirGuns Classic 1911 BB

I have a few inexpensive and/or cheap airguns, like the Marksman 2002, Daisy powerline 210, Crosman PSM45 and now this "Big Country AirGuns Classic 1911".
These are all spring piston air pistols, and this one is chambered for .177 caliber steel BB.

I suspect that KWC made this air pistol.
It is very similar to the 6mm  sig Sauer gsr 1911 spring airsoft pistol that Canadian Tire sells.

I have chronographed the Classic 1911 and it consistently shoots around 175 fps, which is hard enough to punch through cardboard targets.

These are fun, close range indoor target shooting airguns,  and a great way to get into airgunning.

Tolmar Grand Power X-caliber Co2 NBB 6mm airsoft pistol

This Tolmar airsoft replica of the Grand Power X-caliber pistol is a realistic airsoft replica.
It is non-blowback but with a functional metal slide.
The pistol has a double & single action trigger and the muzzle velocity is  rated 450 fps-500 fps with .20 gram 6mm polymer BB's.
I have 3000 rounds of 6mm .30 gram aluminum BB's that work quite well with this Co2 air pistol.
I plan to chronograph this air pistol soon and will update this blog with the results.

Eventually I will remove the orange tip from the muzzle to improve the appearance of this slick looking AirGun.

Ekol ES66 Co2 BB pistol

I bought my Ekol ES66 because I think it resembles the Browning Hi-power 9mm handgun, and had read that Ekol Air pistols are blank guns converted to airgun.
I hoped that the ES66 would be different than your everyday Cosman or Umarex air pistol.

It is a solid metal pistol, and when the magazine is removed, the slide can be cycled, or removed/field stripped.

I have chronographed my ES66 and it regularily shoots 5 grain steel BB's up around 500 fps.
The trigger pull is very heavy, which makes accuracy difficult.

It is a well made metal air pistol with plastic grips and a full size drop free magazine that holds 14 rounds.

It has a rifled barrel and gamo lead roundball ammo loads and cycles perfectly.
The heavier lead balls shoot around 400 fps and are more accurate than the steel BB's.

HellBoy M4 tactical Co2 airgun

I didn't think that I would ever buy a .177cal/4.5mm steel BB-only long gun. Pistols are fun, but a BB only smoothbore long gun is not very practical in my opinion...
...but the only semi-automatic Pellet firing AR-15 style Co2 long gun on the market was SiG Sauer MCX, and that requires a P.A.L to own in Canada.
Then Air Venturi and Pyramydair announced their new steel BB M4 co2 semi auto "tactical" AirGun!
I easily talked myself into placing a pre-order, and I am glad, because it is a fun AirGun to customize and shoot.

SiG Sauer P250ASP .177 cal. Co2 pellet pistol!!!

I bought my SiG P250ASP .177cal Co2 pellet pistol 2 years ago.
It was before SiG air pstols were imported into Canada, possibly because when the P250ASP & P226ASP had velocity ratings of 500 fps & 510 fps respectively.
I kept the packaging with the bold claim of "up to 500 fps" because it may become a collectible someday.

I already owned a Gamo PT-85 blowback pellet pistol and the first thing that I noticed about the SiG p250asp was the dual rotary pellet magazine, and how similar it was to the Gamo PT-85's magazine.
Both air pistols are made in Japan, and both are constructed and function in very similar manner.
Regardless, the Sig P250ASP is as much fun to shoot as the Gamo PT-85 is, and although it doesn't shoot up to 500 fps, it has enough power to shoot good groups from 10 meters.

SiG no longer has the P250ASP in their catalogue, so it has the makings of a collectible.

Vintage Crosman Airguns advertising!

My prized possession is a Hawthorne Montgomery Ward M-150 .22 caliber Co2 pistol that was made around 1955.
The dealer who sold this to me said that in the 35 years He has been buying & selling vintage AirGuns, this model 150 was the closest to new condition that he had ever come across.
It is a variant of the Crosman Model 150.
This is a very fine example of a vintage Cosman AirGun.

HellBoy M4 upgrades:foregrip & rail

There are a few upgrade options for the HellBoy M4.
The handguard can be replaced with a quad rail handguard, or other styles.
A picatinny rail can be attached to the stock hand guard.
A foregrip and tactical light can be attached once the rail is on the handguard.

I bought a variety pack of different lengths of  picatinny rails from Amazon for $15.

I attached the second shortest rail to the underside of the handguard so I can mount a pistol light.

I bought a few items to upgrade my HellBoy M4 off of eBay recently.
They are all coming from China, and only the M4 Spanner wrench has arrived, with a vertical grip handle and an aluminum alloy 6.7" quad rail foregrip are still "in transit".

Colt 1903 should have an AirGun replica!

I think the Colt 1903 automatic pistol is one classic pistol that should have an AirGun replica!
It is very surprising that there isn't a licensed Colt 1903 automatic already.
Pictured are two .32 caliber models and a 9mm longer barrel version with a holster/shoulder stock

The closest to a Colt 1903 replica AirGun is the Cyber gun "SoftAir"  .24cal/6mm Colt .25 spring airsoft pistol.
This pistol has a muzzle velocity of around 90 fps with .20 gram BB's and 150 fps with .12 gram BB's.
Power is not why someone buys a gun like this.
It still has a nice crack of a discharge sound and it very fun to rack the slide and point & shoot.

It is a nifty looking replica of the Browning designed, FN model 1906/Colt model 1908 pocket pistol, maybe someday Umarex or Crosman will release a Co2 version of this gun or the Colt 1903 and the other Browning designed semi-automatic pistols like the model 1900 thru 1935(hi-power 9mm).

I was only able to buy the clear plastic version here in Canada, and I refinished the frame & slide with a paint marker.
I think the finish has a more blued  metallic look than if I used Krylon Fusion "for plastic" spray paint, which leaves a nice powder coat finish.

There is another replica Co2 pistol based on a real steel Russian sidearm that is very similar in design to the John Browning pistols, like the model 1900 & 1903, and that is the legendary Tokarev TT-33.
The Gletcher TT series has been discontinued, except for the TT-P, which is an inexpensive, all plastic, DAO semi-automatic BB pistol.
I was able to find a  TT-NBB, the all metal, non-blowback version that suddenly appeared "in stock" at replica airguns Canada's online store, and it is on its way to me with Canada Post.
The newest Tokarev replica is the  KWC TT-33, which is an oddball of an air Pistol, being that it is single action only like a Colt Single Action Army revolver, were you need to cock the hammer for each shot.
The KWC has a few design flaws, and although I still plan to purchase one, I had to jump on the Gletcher TT-NBB now, and get what possibly could be the last Gletcher Tokarev available brand new from an airgun retailer in Canada, or maybe even North America.
A "Gletcher Guns" representative wrote me back and told me that the company had discontinued the TT, TT-NBB & TT-A, however, he did mention the TT-P that should be available this summer, and it is.

I was lucky to find a Gletcher TT-NBB from a Canadian AirGun Dealer last month, after looking for at least a year.

As I have said in my other post about my TT-NBB, it chronographed between 380-425 fps, depending on temperature, an the state of the Co2 charge.
