Crosman 1322 American Classic

The Crosman 1322 is a potent, multi-pump pneumatic .22cal/5.5mm pellet pistol that can easily be modified, and can be used for pest control, some small game hunting and target shooting.

Thanks to D.T. Fletcher for this, and other superb companion books to many  Crosman Air pistols and Air rifles.

My first 1322 was a 1322 "medalist" that was made in 1978, and still holds air and shoots straight & hard like the day it was built.

The first 1322 variant had a steel breach and sliding breach cover, metal rear sights and a metal cocking knob on the rear, beneath the sights.

i think that Crosman based the design of the Medalist 1322 on a Browning .22LR.

The 13XX pneumatic airgun appeared on this Guns magazine cover in April 1981.

I have a 1377C, but don't have a current photo, so here is a pair of nice pics showing the 1322C with the older style grips & pump handle.

This next photo is from replica-airguns review of the P1322 which was introduced around  2015.
The main design  alterations are to the grips & pump handle.

This last photo is one of my 1322's set up as a carbine with the polymer stock, and with Crosman's picatinny barrel mount, Weaver rail adapter and a Walther Competition II green dot sight.
This is my favorite configuration of the P1322, and since I rarely shoot further than 35 feet, the electronic optical sight is the perfect, compact and durable choice for me.

Pneumatic AirGuns handle heavyweight ammo, like these JSB EXACT Jumbo Monster 25.39grain/1.645gram Lead SLUGS, which I have chronographed at 375 fps after ten pumps with one of my P1322's!!!

New Ported Muzzle brake on its way to me from UK eBay store!

 I plan to attach one of my Crosman 1399 polymer shoulder stocks to my 2240 custom...

 ...and change to  a 14" barrel at some point, but in the meantime I ordered a muzzle brake from the UK.
The pistol carbine will look better with the appearance of a longer barrel than the stock pistol barrel.

The Beeman P1 is by far the higher quality air pistol, and will probably still be shooting great long after I am dead.
Beeman first introduced the model P1 Magnum in the 1980's, and the following are pages from the 1984 and 1986 Beeman Precision AirGuns catalogs...

American Pneumatic Air Rifles!!!

 I had the opportunity recently to take this photo of my 70 year old  Benjamin Model 317 alongside a friend's Crosman 1400 Pumpmaster & Sheridan CB Blue Streak.

Since I bought my Benjamin Model 317 from Mr Marvin "the AirGun Guy" last year, I have thoroughly cleaned and oiled the exterior metal & stock, as well as that, I cleaned and lubed the pump arm,pump cup and seals that I could without fully disassembling the air rifle.

SiG Sauer P250ASP Co2 Pellet Pistol

I bought my ODG(Olive Drag Green) SiG Sauer P250ASP when they were first released, and the velocity was rated at 500 fps.
SiG has discontinued the P250ASP, replaced by the P320ASP
I already had a Gamo PT-85, so I was familiar with this type of pellet stick magazine.
I am going to take new photos of my P250ASP in the next couple of days, but for now I has borrowed Dennis Adler's high quality pics of this soon to be collectable, discontinued SiG ASP Pellet Pistol🔫

Airgun Ammunition

The ammo an Airgunner feeds his AirGun is as important as the AirGun.

I have a large enough stockpile of various types and sizes of AirGun ammo, that I will be shooting for years🔫

H&N and Air Venturi both have great quality copper coated lead BB-caliber balls, which weigh a few grains more, and although the velocity drops, the accuracy may, and energy will be better than with steel BB's.

The Benjamin "cylindrical" .20cal. lead slugs are the closest ammo to the original Sheridan 5mm lead AirGun bullets/pellets available today.

10.85mm carbon steel alloy balls cycle and shoot in the Walther PPQ M2 T4E Co2 pistol, but they cost way too much, and only have a muzzle velocity around 160-70 fps.

The .24cal/6mm carbon steel balls from Germany work amazingly well with the Kel-Tec PMR-30 Co2 pistol, and consistently shoot around 320 fps!
Not bad with a 0.89 gram steel BB!!!

My favorite .24cal/6mm airsoft ammo for Co2 powered airsoft pistols!
At 0.30gram, they are close to the weight of a 4.5mm steel BB.

RIOT BALL .43cal. 13.3 grain PVC/Nylon roundball ammo!!!

Crosman TrapMaster 1100 Co2 shotgun shells are filled with 62 grains of #8 chilled lead shot.
The spent shells can be reloaded with one .375"/.36cal.  lead roundball
