Vintage Benjamin Air Pistols

Crosman's Revolvers Pt-2: SNR.357

I briefly owned a 4" Dan Wesson Co2 revolver in 6mm airsoft about 5 years ago, but sold it to a friend because I decided that I would rather have a .177 caliber version that shot steel or lead.

I ordered a refurbished Crosman SNR.357 Co2 pellet revolver for $60 from Princess last week and it just arrived today!
If it works perfectly, the it will be a half price bargain!

As far as I know, WinGun manufacturers the Dan Wesson & Crosman SR357 & SNR357 Co2 revolvers, so I have finally replaced that Dan Wesson from 5 years ago with  a lead slinging Saturday night special version of the same revolver.

The 2.5" SNR.357 interested me as soon as they were available, but I have been busy with other AirGuns, until I discovered the refurbished ones for sale at princess Auto.

There is a simple hammer spring mod that I plan to do, and hopefully it will increase the power.

I will update this post in the near future with any improvements I am able to make to this cool compact Co2 revolver.

UPDATE:

I fired a few rounds thru my chronograph and 5.4 grain Crosman penetrators hit as high as 395 fps and heavy gamo armour 9.6 grain lead pellets shot around 295-310 fps.

This is a fun Co2 handgun to operate.
Loading rounds is realistic, and adds a lot to the experience.

Umarex H&K USP .177 cal. NBB Co2 pistol

Umarex recently introduced a full blowback action version of the USP, but I still wanted to add the non-blowback version to my collection, mostly because it has the perfect magazine design for use with 7.4 grain "smart shot" copper coated lead BB's, and in some part because Princess Auto had them on sale for $39.99 + shipping for the month leading up to Christmas.

The H&K USP .177 cal BB pistol is a realistic looking & feeling replica air pistol.
It shoots fairly straight for a BB gun, and hits harder than the 400 fps rating.
I chronographed a few shots and three shots ranged from 398 fps to 415 fps.

The inner mechanical operation of the USP seems similar to the IWI Jericho 941/Swiss Arms SA941.

INDUSTRY BRAND QB-57

This is my 5.5mm/.22cal. QB-57 air rifle...I like using dot sight optics, and it was easy to install with a dovetail to picatinny rail adapter:

This is a modified QB-57. The barrel shroud looks great!

Socom Gear Kel-tec PMR-30 .24cal/6mm Co2 pistol

A few years ago I purchased the last SocomGear Kel-Tec PMR-30 6mm Co2 blowback airsoft pistol that Pyramydair had in stock, forever, because this airsoft pistol had been discontinued.
I quickly fell in love with this replica airsoft pistol, and when I chronographed it, I was amazed at the results.
My PMR-30 shot .20 gram BB's over 550 fps, and the aluminum alloy .30 gram BB's averaged around 440 fps!
Since my PMR-30 was purchased in the USA, it had an orange muzzle, and more. The entire outer barrel was orange!
This pistol was so much fun to shoot that I didn't care.
Evenually, after perhaps 1000 rounds, the slide brokeby the ejection port. I glued it, and it broke again, so I got online and tried to find an official SocomGear parts & repair shop in Canada, and there was contact info on the SocomGear webpage.
I contacted airsoftparts dot ca through email and sure enough he could have a replacement slide shipped from Asia, but it would cost $50 for the shipping...however, he said that he has a factory demo model with an all black outer barrel that he would be happy to sell me for $100, shipping from Toronto included, how would I like that?
!!!!!!!HELL YA!!!!!!!!

This is my all black Kel-tec PMR-30 Co2 pistol.
It is a 15 round semi-automatic chambered in .24cal/6mm.
It has a high muzzle velocity, shooting .20 gram BB's up to 500 fps, and easily handles the .30 gram metal alloy 6mm BB's, which i  chronographed around 440-460fps with this Co2 pistol!

I don't consider this pistol to be an "airsoft" gun since it is far too powerful for any airsoft games.
It is an air weapon/Co2 pistol chambered in .24 caliber/6mm roundball...I'd like to try loading 6mm lead roundball (if that size exists?) and find out how well I performs shooting lead.

I enjoy my SocomGear Kel-Tec PMR-30 .24cal/6mm GBB Co2 Pistol so much that I take alot of photographs of it 🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫

Beeman P1/Weihrauch HW45

Trevor Adams review of the Beeman P1/Weihrauch HW45:

I bought myself a Beeman P1 Magnum .22cal/5.5mm air pistol last December from Pyramydair, and I have added rubber grips to the M1911 walnut grip panels:

Lead free sabot type AirGun ammunition

The .177cal/4.5mm H&N Prometheus shoots very well in my 70 year old Benjamin model 317 pneumatic air rifle!

Crosman's lead free .22cal/5.5mm Monster!

I love this AirGun ammo!
I feed it to my Crosman 2240, 1322's, Diana Chaser co2 rifle and my Beeman P1 Magnum spring piston air pistol!

The 8.5 grain penetrators are devastating when shot by Magnum power AirGuns.

The .177cal/4.5mm "fast flight" 5.4 grain penetrators from Crosman are the perfect length for the Crosman's 357 Co2 revolver, and any breach loading or break barrel type of AirGun.

Trevor Adams reviewed the original "Prometheus" ammo a couple of decades ago:
