The beginnings of Sig-Air: Sig Sauer's Airgun Division

 

Here in Canada, this product didn't initially get approved entry into Canada by the Canada Customs Office because the very first two true Sig Sauer ASP Air pistols were rated for muzzle velocity of 500 fps and more.

My pistol was purchased in the USA within a couple months of the American release of the P250 and P226 CO2 Pellet Pistols.

Around two years later I saw the all black P250 for sale from "replicaairguns dot ca" but not this Olive drab green two tone model. The muzzle velocity rating had also been changed to "435 fps".

Not long after that and Sig discontinued the P250 and introduced the P320 and later the M17 US Army version and new higher capacity magazines.

The squirt gun that is loved by every child may have evolved into a toy, from a self defense weapon that offered non-lethal protection against "vicious dog(or man) just as stated in the Ad.

I suspect that liquids such as ammonia or hot pepper juice was the recommended ammunition.

In recent years Australia has outlawed every type of "airgun", including Gel Blasters, which are essentially water guns. 

Advertising such as this leaves me speechless. 

Canada, where I am located has a federal government currently that is set on disarming the law abiding gun owners and eliminating gun culture completely.

Riot-Ball are, as far as I know, are injection molded Nylon/PVC Roundball.

This is an excellent projectile for .43 Caliber CO2 guns.

@One gram per Riot-Ball, I have chronograph results up to 425 fps.

Baikal MP-651k Co2 Pistol/Carbine Kit

 

Baikal's MP-651k is a uniquely designed airgun that shoots 4.5 mm lead roundball or .177 cal pellets...steel BB's can be used but the bore is larger than those made specifically for steel BB's and it's rifled, so lead pellets and  Gamo "roundball" in 4.5 mm are the best choices for accurate shooting with this airgun.

G.K.Arms: Crosman M-2240 CO2 Pellet Pistol

I own a pair of .22 cal. Crosman M-2240 CO2 Pellet Pistols which I have modified in different ways.

The first photo shows on with the older 1980's era grip panels and a rail for a pistol sized optic with a ghost ring rear peep sight.

The second photo shows my other M-2240 with a 3D printed barrel mounted dual  rail, a pistol optic on top,  and an O-Light mounted below.

This is the factory spec M-2240 with P-1322 grip panels.
