Grand_Power X-Caliber Co2 Pistol (caliber:6mm)

Silver plated, fluted outer barrel
All-metal, full size, drop-free 13 round magazine

My Grand_Power X-CALIBER came with a little hex key/mult-tool, and a user guide in  a nice box, Plus an 🍊 muzzle tip, which easily came off with a wrench after I used a heat gun on the silver barrel.
Canadian Laws do not require orange muzzle tips on any "AirGun or airsoft gun" with a muzzle velocity above 366 fps(.20gram BB).
The Grand Power X-Caliber 6mm BB Co2 pistol is considerably more powerful than the Laws require, but this airsoft gun must have been imported to North America, and into Canada, thru the  USA, where Laws require that bright 🍊 tip attached to the muzzle regardless of power level or muzzle velocity.
Canada considers all Airguns with a muzzle velocity below 500 fps & muzzle energy below 5.7 joules/4.2 foot-pounds, to be classified as "Uncontrolled Firearms" that don't require a gun license to purchase & own.
Buyers of sub-500fps airguns must be 18 year of age or older.
Airsoft guns, like my Tolmar/Grand Power X-CALIBER and my SocomGear Kel-Tec PMR-30 (muzzle velocity: 500 fps) are legally classified as "Sub-500 fps" Airguns, and not "airsoft" guns...it sucks when lawmakers make such a fun hobby/Pastime so darn complicated!

Now without that orange eye sore this Slovakian pistol looks exquisite πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«that is one heck of a stylish silver plated, fluted barrel😎

Just like some  other Tolmar air pistols, such as my ISSC M22, the magazine is an all metal,  full size, drop free, "ammo + Co2" type of magazine that uses the trigger to move the Co2 tube into the breach to help seal the breach after loading the round.
It doesn't add much to the trigger pull at all!

I even find double action to be very smooth and light.
The open sights are some of the best that I have ever aimed with on the dozens of air pistols I have handled and own, over the past 30+years.
The front sight is fixed with a fiber optic insert,  and the rear is adjustable for elevation & windage, just like the 9x19 cartridge version of this pistol.

I chronographed this Co2 pistol earlier today and 12 round magazine of .25 gram BB's averaged 445 fps.
.12 gram BB's hit up to 575 fps, and .20 gram are as high as 490 fps...
The best thing is that this co2 pistol can handle 1 gram/15.43 grain steel balls and I have recorded velocities as high as 325 fps!!

Even though my GP X-CALIBER is the Non-blowback (NBB) version of the pistol, it is really nice to have the functional slide.
If for nothing else, but to admire the silver plated fluted outer barrel!

There are many similarities between my Walther PPQ M2 T4E .43 caliber Riot-Ball Pistol and this Grand-Power X-Caliber.
The WARNING text  markings on  sidthe right side of the polymer frame are placed in the same spot, and even look to be identical.

This is a somewhat obscure Airsoft/AirGun replica Co2 pistol here in Canada, and so, just like my SiG Sauer P-250ASP ,  ISSC M22, Ekol ES66  &  Kel-Tec PMR-30  plus the Anics Skif A3000 and IZH-BAIKAL mp-651k, and some others, this Grand_Power X-CALIBER is destined to have a place in my permanent collection πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«

More from my AirGun collection πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«πŸ”«

The "May Two-Four" or "Victoria Day" long weekend is almost here, and the weather is perfect Co2 gun weather!

I started unpacking my large AirGun storage trunk yesterday, and took a few photos to help me decide on which handguns will get some shooting time over the next few days...

First is my Russian made, Anics Skif A3000 Co2 NBB semi-automatic .177cal/4.5mm pellet & BB pistol:

My Beeman P1 Magnum .22cal/5.5mm spring piston air pistol is definitely coming out for some soup can killing!

The Crosman GI-model 1911BB is a really nice looking full metal pistol that has good power blasting steel or lead BB's through metal soup cans!

Another slick looking full metal air pistol that is made in Turkey, my Ekol ES66...it's a reasonable replica of the Browning Hi-power 9mm, and it performs best with 4.5mm Gamo lead roundball ammo, and can shoot them well over 400 fps!

This next pistol is my STI Duty One Co2 NBB 4.5mm steel BB pistol that sends BB's out the muzzle around 380 fps.

The ASG STI Duty One has a metal recipricating slide, high quality polymer frame with excellent grips.
The trigger, hammer and internal parts are all metal.

This air pistol is a DA/SA or "double action/single action" pistol.
You can rack the slide or cock the hammer by hand to ready the pistol for firing. The trigger loads the round, and you can just pull the trigger for rapid double action firing on not unlike a double action revolver.

My newest revolver, the Crosman SNR357 will be coming out for some close range plinkingπŸ”«

I bought an extra six pellet shells, so now 12 shells can be pre-loaded at a time.

I will most definitely be gassing up my Walther PPQ M2 T4E .43 caliber Co2 pistol and blast a bunch of Riot-Ball ammo over the coming days....

I love this co2 pistol, and the .43 caliber PVC/nylon Riot-Ball ammo is amazing!!!

This is my oldest vintage air pistol, a Hawthorne Montgomery Ward M-150 .22 caliber pellet Co2 pistol which is a rebranded variant of Crosman's model 150.
The M-150 is a powerful Co2 pistol that shoots 14 grain lead pellets around 475 fps, and on a fresh Co2 cartridge there is some serious muzzle flip as the round and gas exits the barrel!

SIG SAUER Announces The SiG-AiR MCX Virtus .22 caliber PCP Air Rifle + the P365 BB pistol

This will be a treat for P.A.L licensed Canadian Airgunners!

SiG Sauer/SiG-AiR MCX Virtus .22 caliber PCP Air Rifle will be available soon, with a muzzle velocity rating up to 700 fps/ 11 foot-pounds muzzle energy.

This could be the coolest  small game PCP on the market.

Hopefully the RCMP doesn't go and catagorize this AirGun with the  AR-15, because of its appearance.

The SiG-Air P365 replica Co2 4.5mm BB pistol will also be available soon.
It has blowback action and  a muzzle velocity rating of up to 295 fps.
I suspect that it will be similar in size, shooting  range and power to the Walther PPK.
SiG has designed this Co2 replica to be useful as a training gun for new shooters and SiG P365 owners, which makes it even more desirable to AirGun freaks, like myself.

A.V HellBoy M4 Tactical Co2 rifle gets a Quad-rail Handguard!

I've written about, and photographed my Air Venturi HellBoy M4 Tactical .177cal. Co2 BB Rifle a number of times.
It is one of my favorite AirGuns, although, I wish I could upgrade it for .22 caliber lead roundball, instead of .177cal/4.5mm steel BB.
Presently, my HellBoy M4 has an aluminum alloy quad-rail handguard with my angled forgrip attached, and the stock has a US Army rubber buttstock recoil pad.
Any one of my gun lights work with this AirGun, and are much easier to use now that the quad rail is on the gun.

Ying & Yang : Walther PPQ: M2 T4E .43 cal. Co2 pistol & Tactical FDE .24cal/6mm spring piston Airsoft pistol

Air Venturi/ISSC M22 GBB .177 cal/4.5mm Replica Air Pistol

A few years ago I saw this Co2 pistol in a shotshow preview video and as soon as Pyramydair was taking pre-orders, I ordered mine!

The .22LR ISSC M22 is a popular semi-automatic pistol that is made in Austria, and resembles a compact Glock, except one that is hammer fired.

The .177 caliber steel BB version is a wonderfully compact Co2 pistol, that packs a punch, has a loud disharge sound, and strong blowback.
It has a solid polymer frame and metal slide, metal hammer, metal trigger and magazine, as well as the slide stop/release.
The sights are glock-like, and the rear is adjustable for windage.
The average muzzle velocity that I recorded has always been around 430 fps, and the pistol is rated by the manufacturer at 400 fps.

This co2 & ammo, all metal, full size, drop-free magazine system is a quality unit, that is used in other excellent replica AirGuns, like the H&K VP9 and Grand Power X-Caliber .
I have two magazines, so if one is out for repair, I still have a working co2 pistol!

This is the first  version of the .22LR M22, which has the Glock influenced trigger guard.

The second version, which the air pistol is based on, had a rounded edge on the trigger guard.

The next four pictures are of my M22 Co2 BB pistolπŸ”«

The only part of this replica Co2 pistol that I dislike is the bright white WARNING text on the right side of the slide.
I used a gun bluing marker to darken the text after these pictures were taken.
Hogue's Glock rubber grip sleeve fits the ISSC M22 perfectly, and the finger grooves really add to the shooting experience.

I have owned my M22 since Air_Venturi/Pyramydair first took pre-orders for them after the Vegas  shotshow about 4 or 5 years ago.
It is still one of the most treasured airguns in my collection, and I expect to never part with it, which is how I feel about my Beeman P1 .22 cal. Magnum and my Hawthorne Montgomery Ward M150, which says alot for this ISSC M22 πŸ”«
