I have ordered a T4E TR-50 .50 cal. Co2 Revolver and 500 rounds of Riot-Ball ammo!!!
I am patiently waiting for camouflage.ca to ship my order, which also includes 4 x 90 gram Co2 cartridges (so I can finally test out my new used Walther SG9000 Co2 BB Shotgun)

Improvised Firearms & ZipGuns

Homemade improvised firearms and zipguns article from TFB "the firearms blog":

improvised-firearms and zip-guns

I  enjoy collecting photographs of homemade guns from around the world, and i have a few interesting  books and e-books  on this subject.

I have also  made a few of my own homemade pistols that are  of similar design, except they are  non-firing cap-guns.

I love my homemade Airguns, as well as improvised homemade guns!

Walther SG9000 Co2 BB Shotgun

I have bought a used Walther SG9000 .177cal./4.5mm Steel BB Co2 Shotgun that was posted at gunpost dot CA.
Hopefully i will recieve it someday next week.

This Co2 BB gun is a unique airgun that has a single BB mode  and 3-BB mode, with a 40 round spring fed magazine.
ReplicaAirguns Mike tested his, and it shot single BB's across the chronograph in the low 500 fps range, and blasted 3 BB's in the low 300 fps range!

The SG9000 uses the large 88 gram Co2 cartridges, so i will have to make a trip to the sporting goods store to buy a couple of those large cartridges.

On Amazon,I found a supposed 12 gram Co2 adapter with 88 gram Co2 threads which enables me to use the smaller Co2 cartridges.
We will see if it actually works when it arrives later next week.

Airguns i shot today!

I was up before 5am packing up a few Air pistols & supplies to head down to one of my makeshift airgun ranges.
it is always difficult to pick out 2 or 3 airguns from my collection, and today was no different, but i settled on a couple Co2 pistols & a .22 cal. Co2 Carbine.
One shoots 4.5mm lead roundball and the other 177cal. Steel BB, and the third fires any type of .22cal lead pellet, lead roundball or alloy Sabot bullet.

 EKOL ES-66 Co2 powered 4.5mm BB pistol.

the select-fire Umarex Legends  Mauser M712 is always a great choice to take shooting!

Once i removed the Diana Chaser's suppressor and removed the plastc inner baffle, i was able to use the suppressors shell as a muzzle break

TSD M1911/WinGun WG321 6mm Co2 Pistol

I purchased my TSD M1911 non-blowback, full metal 6mm airsoft co2 pistol from Pyramydair about 4 years ago, and it slowly leaked gas right from the start.
The TSD M1911 shoots 0.20 gram BB's around 500 fps, so i had planned to fix the leak, which was probably easy, as long as disassembly would not be terribly complicated.
After putting off this repair for four years, i tried some of the 6mm carbon steel alloy balls which i recently bought and th third round got jammed in the barrel!
Now i had to finally repair this Co2 pistol, and there are a few "how to" videos on YouTube.
i was able to easily follow this video, and i unjammed the barrel, put everything back together, and by some miracle it no longer leaked gas!
i chronographed a few carbon alloy rounds that went as high as 336 fps.
would you know it! i jammed the barrel again!
at least i can quickly repair this pistol now 🔫

.22 caliber/5.5mm sub-500 fps Airguns

One of the jewels of my Airgun collection is my Hawthorne Montgomery Ward M-150, a rare variant of the Crosman model 150 .22cal. pellet pistol that was made around 1955.
This was the second vintage airgun that i bought.
i bought it from Mr.Marvin, and he told me that in his  35+ years in the airgun biz, he has never come across a Crosman model 150 in as close to 'New' condition.

my G.K.Arms TD-22 Custom is a Crosman model 2240, which is essentially, the grandchild of the model 150.

the Crosman model P1322 "American Classic" is a multi-pump pneumatic that has a similar design to the model 2240, but it is a consistently more powerful.
i like the P1322 with the 1399 Stock attached, a nice compact carbine!

Another heirloom airgun in my collection is my Beeman P-1 Magnum, which was made in Germany by Weihrauch.

my .24cal/6mm Kel-Tec PMR-30 is close enough to .22 caliber to be included in this post.

This is such a nice air pistol. the build quality is exquisite, and Colt 1911 walnut grips + Pierce rubber grip makes for  a stylish and ergonomic .22 caliber air pistol!
